Obituary for Helen McClain Mrs. Helen McClain, 92, of Seymour formerly of Crothersville, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at home under the caring staff of Hospice of Schneck Medical Center and surrounded by family. She was born in Indianapolis on January 23, 1926 to the late Freeman and Freda (Moore) Spall. Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at The Tabernacle on Friday, September 7 at 1 pm with Brother Larry Arrowood, Brother Tim Brown and Brother Jeremy Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Uniontown Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday from 4-8 pm and at the church on Friday from 11 am until time of service. On June 22, 1946, in Indianapolis, she married Frank E. McClain with Rev.

R. G. Hoekstra officiating at Calvary Tabernacle; he preceded her in death on October 18, 1981. Helen was owner of Preferred Risk Insurance Agency for 10 years. She was a member of The Tabernacle in Seymour.

Helen in survived by her son, Garry (Sandy) McClain; grandchildren, Stephen McClain and Christopher McClain; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Terry McClain; brothers, Kenneth Spall and Delbert Spall; and sister, Kathleen McClain. Memorials may be written to Schneck Hospice or The Tabernacle Benevolence Fund, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
