Helen B. Franklin, 83, of Fleming Island, FL passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018. She was born on January 1, 1935 to Zebbie Anderson Bush and Corrie Evelyn Mann Bush in Tallassee, AL. The wife of Rev.

Carl R. Franklin, Sr., she was a member of Harbor Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir. She retired from the medical field having worked as a Pharmacy Tech at Flagler Hospital and Orange Park Medical Center. Helen will be fondly remembered for her sweet spirit and deep love of family.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Corrie Belinda Wardlaw; a brother, Zeb Bush; and 2 sisters: Martha Claire Chamblis and Barbara Hulgan. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Rev.

Carl R. Franklin, Sr.; 2 sons, Ray Franklin and Rev. Russell Franklin (Cami); daughter, Teresa F. Bush; 2 brothers, James and John Bush; 4 grandchildren: Christopher and Steven Bush (Tsvetelina) and Jarod and Anne Franklin; and 3 great-grandchildren: Corrie, C.J., and Alexander. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Harbor Baptist Church, 1120 Clay St, Fleming Island.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM officiated by Rev. Sam Jewell. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery, 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The March of Dimes or Community Hospice.
