Henderson Jerry Shiver, age 56, of Tifton, died Monday, January 21, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Jay Kimbrough officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:30 until service time at the church Mr. Shiver was born on August 6, 1962, in Americus, to the late Rudolph and Mildred Justice Shiver. He spent his career as a sheet metal mechanic and enjoyed spending time cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, watching NASCAR. He loved grilling with family, and could always be found looking for a bargain in the thrift stores.

Survivors include his wife, Lori Price Shiver, children, Jenny (Matt) Hathcock, Brittney (Todd) Smith, Nathan Reynolds, Katherine (Whitney) Riddle, Amanda (Erin) Barfield, Tyler (Ashley) Barfield, fifteen grandchildren, one sister, JoAnn Donahoo and his favorite pet, Brody In addition to his parents, Mr. Shiver was preceded in death by two brothers, Junior Shiver, and Chris Shiver, and one sister, Susan Kavanugh.
