Hennelore F Bolcav, January 01, 1928 — January 20, 2019

Hennelore’s Obituary Hannelore “Lori” F. Bolcavage, 91, of Archbald, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, January 20th, at Allied Services Hospice surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 63 years is Victor Bolcavage. Born in Mannheim, Germany, on January 1, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Maria Magdalena (Stein) Hennrich.

Lori was a member of Christ the King Parish, Archbald and was a seamstress in local dress factories. She loved to crochet and to sew. Born and raised in Mannheim, Germany, Lori grew up in momentous times.

Surviving the dangers of World War II, she worked as a civilian employee of the U.S. Army where she met her future husband, Victor. “Johnny” and she married on April 30, 1955, at Bonifatius Church, Mannheim. Victor retired from the Army and they moved to northeast PA.

Lori was a loving mother and grandmother who always had time for you. She never missed a birthday, a remarkable feat given she has 40 grandchildren. Lori loved the Phillies and loved cheering for her Valley View Cougar children and grandchildren.

She had a special love for her family in Germany who remain an important part of the family today. Also surviving are two daughters, Diane Conserette and husband Joe, Archbald; Renee Martyniuk and husband John, Auburn, PA, three sons; Peter Hennrich and wife Hannelore, Sinsheim, Germany, Michael Bolcavage and wife Kathy, Apopka, FL, Mark Bolcavage and fiancée Justine Vancosky, Archbald; a sister-in-law Friedchen Hennrich, Germany; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Karl and grandson Kyle.

The family expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Weinberger, Dr. Barrasse, the staff of Regional Hospital of Scranton, and the staff of the Mid-Valley Health Care Center. In particular, Lori’s family thanks Laura Marion and her amazingly caring, professional staff at the Allied Services Hospice Center for their good work in the family’s time of need. The funeral will be Thursday 9 AM from the Harrison Funeral Home, 374 N. Main St. Archbald with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald, PA.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7PM at the Harrison Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
