Henry’s Obituary Henry J. “Bun” Tomow, Jr., age 74, of Keshena, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019. He was born on June 7, 1944, he is the son of Henry and Frances (Waupoose) Sr., Bun served his country honorably in the United States Army during the time of the Vietnam War, with the 2nd Battalion, 33rd Armor, Germany. Bun also served his community as a Law Enforcement Officer for both Menominee County and Menominee Tribal Police Departments.

Bun was an avid outdoorsman, Packer and Brewer fan. He was a proud man, maybe even to a fault. Despite having to overcome many hardships, he lived a rich life.

More than anything, he loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Bun is survived by his children: Tyrane “T. J” Tomow; Lana (Randy) Jenkins; Sheila (Tim) Hunter; all of Illinois.

Thomas Tomow, Sr., Shawano; April (Nathan) Williams, Michigan; Henry Tomow, III, Green Bay; Dakota Tomow, Shawano; and Jeffrey Doxtator, Green Bay. Numerous grandchildren, former wife Brenda, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Louis, Bernard, Gertrude, Colin, Sr., Elizabeth, Lucille, Lawrence, and Margaret.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the Assembly of God Church in Keshena. Military rites will be conducted by the Veterans of the Menominee Nation.
