Hermelinda Hernandez Huerta, 75 of Long Branch passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. Born in Puebla City Mexico, Hermelinda moved to NYC in 1977 and to the Long Branch area in 2015. Hermelinda was an active member of First Hispanic Presbyterian Church, Prince of Peace, Cliffwood Beach, NJ.

She raised her family with much love and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Hermelinda was a wonderful cook and spent much time cooking for her family. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was predeceased by her parents Enrique Hernandez and Beatriz Huerta. She is survived by her devoted children Margarita Medel and her husband Raul, Matos, Raul Medel and his wife Noelia Allende, Esther Medel, Ramiro Medel and his wife Ana L Medel and Alejandro Bolanos and his wife Ligia S. Alvarado. Brothers; Ruben Medel, Eliseo Medel, Manuel Medel, Armindo Medel sisters; Emma Medel and Rogelia Medel.

Grandchildren; Raul Matos, Abisai Matos, Steven Matos, Laura Rios, Damian Rios, Zabdi Medel, Jason Medel, Susan Toro, Helder Andrade and Meslier Andrade. A visitation will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Home , 415 Broadway , Long Branch, on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Burial will take place in Mexico.
