Obituary for Howard Clark Howard Gary Clark, 67, of Battle Creek, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born August 2, 1950 in Battle Creek, the son of Howard and Constance (Laws) Clark. Howard served in the U.S. Army.

He married Mary Gulley on February 20, 1971 in Benton Harbor. He retired from Kraft Foods after 30 plus years of service. Howard loved riding around in his classic car, a 64′ Chevy SS.

He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Howard was a hardworking man who would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He is survived by his wife, Mary Clark; children, Kimberly Clark and Gary Clark; granddaughters, Azaria King and Aiya Clark; siblings, Linda Matthews, Judith Clark, Sherry (June) Horton, Gerryl (Nell) Clark, and Dionne Clark; special granddaughter, Anjali Saunders; godson: Michael (Latisha) Glass; goddaughter, Dorian Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and special friends, Anthony Robinson and Pete Newberry. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 17th from 4:00-6:00 PM at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18th at 12:00 PM with a family hour to begin at 11:00 AM at First Salem Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor R. Chester Gulley officiating.

Burial will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.
