Gratitude from granddaughter Jill: I want to thank the few friends and family that took the time to visit and/or call my Grandpa especially the few from Columbus Clippers. That really meant a lot to him. As primary caregiver, I really got to know my Grandpa over the last year and a half.

He was thoughtful, caring and a joy to be around! We had fun going to the pool, trying new places to eat, ice cream after (sometimes before) every meal, playing board games and lots of cards. He told some very interesting stories too!

A couple of his sayings I won’t forget, “I helped him get started” and “You’re the Boss! ” He will be missed. A VERY special thank you to my Mom and National Church Residences staff for everything.

I couldn’t have done it without you! Please make donations to National Church Residences so they can continue to help our Seniors www. nationalchurchresidences.org/ Thanks again!
