Obituary for Inez Cockrell Bryant Inez Cockrell Bryant, 95, of Laurel, passed away on June 26, 2018 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. Mrs. Bryant was an avid quilter (when able) and loved to crochet. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Allen Hollingsworth and Ruby Culpepper Hollingsworth; four brothers; three sisters (one which was her twin); two sons, Perry Allen Cockrell and Ray Maxwell Cockrell; and two husbands, Oberge Cockrell, Sr. and Gannie Bryant.

Survivors include two sons, Oberge Cockrell, Jr. and Bryan Bryant both of Laurel; niece, Sandra Wade; daughter-in-law, Corlis F. Cockrell of South Carolina; step-daughter, Patsy Gean Geiger of Florida; grandchildren, Diedra C. Watts, Jason Cockrell, Sean Grover, and Michael Cockrell all of South Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Memory Chapel on Saturday, June 30th. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and the service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Louin Cemetery in Jasper County.

Rev. Roy Crouch will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ricky Wade, Barry Parker, Neil Parker, and Joe Parker.
