Obituary for Lillian Lessie Chatsko Lillian Lessie Chatsko was born December 19, 1927 and passed away at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS at the age of 90 years old. Visitation will be Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Memory Chapel in Laurel, Ms. The funeral service will also be held at Memory Chapel on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm with graveside service to follow at Palestine Cemetery. Brother Hiram Eaves will officiate.

She was a lifetime resident of Jones County and member of Harmony Baptist Church. After working many years at the Reliance Sewing factory, she was a homemaker. She was a loving caretaker of many children that she helped raise.

Lessie was preceded in death by her husband Paul Chatsko, parents LeRoy and Onie Griffin Clark, and brothers R.C., Edward, Thurman, Hershel, Roy and Maxcell Clark. She is survived by her daughters Ellen (Steven “Squeak”) Shoemake of Ellisville, Elana (Tony) Lawson of Laurel, grandchildren Steven Shoemake Jr. (Janice) of Ellisville, Ryan Shoemake of Ellisville, Rod (LeAnna) Lawson of Eugene, Oregon, Marina (Adam) Beahm of Laurel, and Anna (Tyler) Kelly of Laurel and great grandchildren Cali, Caden, Carli and Chloe Lawson of Eugene, Oregon, Tristan McCullough and Bryleigh Beahm of Laurel, Zachary and Dylan Shoemake of Ellisville, and Elizabeth Sheppard of Ellisville, and a host of nephews and nieces that were all very special to her. Pall Bearers will be Tim Lawson, Brandon Wilson, Robby White, Michael Davis, and Matt McDonald and Dewey Brady.
