Obituary for Irene S. Snyder (Daubert) Irene Sarah (Daubert) Snyder, 85, of Harrisburg Pennsylvania, died Saturday, November 10, 2018. “Rene” was born July 1, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Levi “Lip” Daubert and Lillie Elizabeth (Granger) Daubert of Pine Grove, Schuylkill County Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Richard Henry Snyder, sister Grace (Daubert) Bretzius and brother John Daubert.

She is survived by three children, David R. Snyder of Enola, Donna M. (Snyder) Gaffney (married to Joseph) of Harrisburg and Eric M. Snyder (married to Jacquelyn) of Mt. Holly Springs; eight grandchildren, Natilie, Megan, Jessica, Gordon, Adam, Nicholas, Joey and Noah; three great-grandchildren, Vaida, Lucas and Irene, with a great-grandchild expected in January along with a nephew Dale and nieces Barbara, Darlene and Patricia. During her life, she loved her family dearly.

She graduated from nursing school as an LPN and also was a Real Estate agent for a period. She enjoyed painting, reading, singing and taking trips with her one true love, husband Richard, to Vermont and Williamsburg, Virginia. Irene’s Christian faith was a vital part of her life.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 10:30 AM at the Hanoverdale Church of the Brethren, 577 Hershey Rd, Hummelstown, PA 17036 followed by a fellowship meal. Irene will be buried with her husband Richard at Ft. Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA.

with a 1:30 PM interment ceremony. “Together again” she would say when speaking of this day. Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.
