Obituary for Marie A. Witter (Nye) Marie A. Nye Witter, 83, of Crystal River, FL, and formerly of Hummelstown, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018, in the Cypress Cove Care Center, Crystal River, FL. Born in Derry Township on November 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late William and Violet Gipe Nye. Marie was a devoted homemaker.

Before moving to Florida, she was a member of the Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, Hershey; and enjoyed working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd A. Witter, on August 30, 1998, and a great grandson, Ethan Geesaman. Marie is survived by one daughter, Kathleen L. Spanding of Homosassa, FL; three grandchildren, Sherri, Donald and Michael; several great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Mae Bair of Rutherford.

Private services will be held. Inurnment will be in the Hanoverdale Cemetery. Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.
