Obituary for Isabella Mae Burrows Isabella Mae Burrows (aka Izzy/Bell/Bella) Isabella Mae Burrows, 16, of Fence, WI, passed away unexpectedly in an automobile accident on her way to work Friday morning, June 22, 2018, with her best friend, Paige. She was born December 10, 2001, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, daughter of Jonathan and Linda (Gromoske) Burrows. She attended Oconto schools and lived in Florida for a year attending Oviedo Chiles Middle School before moving to Fence, where she attended Florence High School and just completed 10th grade.
She loved competing in cross country, track and field, and basketball. She won the MVP award for cross country while attending Oviedo Middle School in Florida, as well as the rising star award in track & field while attending Oconto High School. She worked at Svecia Club on the Chain of Lakes in Spread Eagle and Richards Supper Club in Dunbar.
She was a fighter since birth, born prematurely at 2 lbs. 5. 5 oz, Isabella surpassed all those challenges and became the most amazing, sweet, helpful, loving young woman that touched all the lives of those around her and left them with a huge imprint of her heart.
She always had a hug waiting for those she visited. Isabella was a small town country girl who loved life, loud country music, concerts, cowgirl boots, 4-wheeling/mudding, campfires, driving around on back roads, fishing, swimming, traveling, running 5k/10k races, spending time with friends and family, playing cards, playing with her dogs, and climbing trees (she was always looking for that next big tree to climb). She will be missed tremendously by her parents, Jonathan and Linda Burrows; two brothers, Bryce & Logan; one sister, Alyson; Paternal grandparents, Steve and Julie Bartels of Green Bay, WI, and Maternal grandparents, Roy and Sandy Noack of Oconto, WI, Paternal great-grandparents, Edward Wagner and John and Yvonne Burrows; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Isabella was preceded in death by her Paternal great-grandparents, William and Patricia Bartels, Shirley Wagner, Shirley Burrows; and Maternal grandfather, Theodore Gromoske; and Maternal great- grandparents, Joseph and Kazmiera Gromoske, Jack and Dorthy Price A Celebration of Life The family has chosen to honor Isabella’s legacy of life at a gathering on Sunday July 1, 2018 at Crivitz Community Veterans Park, 515 Park Place, Crivitz, WI 54114. Visitation Sunday anytime from 1pm-6pm. We would like to thank everyone who showed us love, support, and prayer in this time of need.
