Obituary for Lola J. Dixon Lola J. Dixon 63, of Felch, passed away on June 10, 2018 at her home. Lola was born on June 11, 1954 in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Walter and Georgina “Jane” (Carlson) Raether. She has been a resident of this area for her entire life and was a 1972 graduate of North Dickinson High School.

Lola married Darwin Dixon on May 19, 1973 at St. Joseph Church in Foster City. She has worked as the payroll clerk for Systems Control for over 25 years. Lola was a member of St. Joseph Church in Foster City and the Eastern Dickinson County Sportsmans Club.

She enjoyed hunting, loved to camp and was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan. Lola is survived by her husband Darwin; sons, Trevor (Katie) Dixon of Hardwood and Dustin Dixon of Iron Mountain; brothers, Gary (Lorraine) Raether of Iron Mountain and Guy (Kathy) Raether of Foster City; sisters, Lois (Gary) Sturm of Kingsford and Linda Raether of Felch. Also by many nieces, nephews, brothers and sister in law; close friends and her best friend and brother in law, Todd Dixon.

She loved her dog, Zumaya and her grand puppies, Wrigley and Hercules. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June14, 2018 from 9:00 am to 11:00am at St. Joseph Church in Foster City. The Funeral Services will follow at 11:00am at the church on Thursday.

Fr. Timothy Ekaitis will offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in the Felch Cemetery.
