Obituary for Jackie William Penn Jackie William Penn, 78, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018. He was born November 5, 1939, in Martinsville to the late George W. Penn and Lee Lowe Penn. He had been employed at Fieldcrest Mills and Martinsville City Schools.

He enjoyed bowling, sports and playing cards. In addition to his parents, Mr. Penn was preceded in death by sister, Barbara Jean Metoyer and a brother, Sherman Penn. He is survived by daughters, Karen D. Penn and Lori Penn Hairston; sister, Shirley Ann Penn; and brother, Tyrone Penn.

The funeral will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Shiloh Missionary Church with Pastor Benjamin Redd officiating. Visitation will be one half hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Carver Memorial Gardens.
