A funeral service for Jacob Cannon, age 21 of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 2 o’clock in the afternoon Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville. Rev. Don Copeland will officiate.

He will be laid to rest at Still Waters Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville. Jacob was born November 25, 1996 in Tyler and passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 in Rusk. He worked as an electrician’s apprentice in the construction industry.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jennifer and David Duke of Tyler; father, Jimmy Walker of Lake O’ Pines; brothers, Cody Brummett of Rusk, Michael Brummett of Jacksonville, Dustin Walker of Longview; sisters and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Dr. James Wasson and Hannah Whittmore of Palestine. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Walker, Michael Brummett, Cody Brummett, David Duke, Jimmy Walker and Gerald Walker. Visitation will begin on Friday, September 7, 2018 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Jacob’s family from 4 to 6 o’clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
