James B. Vaughn , age 55,passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born December 15, 1962 in New Castle, Indian a son of the late Wilkinson R. Vaughn and Beverlee G. Brown. He enjoyed retirement.

His hobbies included football, nascar and concerts. He leaves to cherish his memory a brother, Chuck (Sheila) Brown of Columbia, South Carolina; two sisters, Gena (Eddie) Conner of New Castle and Ange Banda of Ocala, Florida; several nieces, nephews,… Read More » aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilkinson R. Vaughn and Beverlee G. Brown, his step father Charles “Gene” Brown as well as his brother, Jeffery R. Vaughn.

The family would like to thank the New Castle Fire Department and EMT’s along with the staff at Henry Community Health and St. Vincent Hospital. Family and friends may call from 11 AM to 1 PM on Thursday, November 29,2018 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday November 29,2018 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation service with Pastor Steve Arnett officiating.
