Wanda J. Benson, age 86, New Castle resident, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 She was born September 17, 1932 in Susie, Kentucky a daughter of the late Minford and Bonnie Carter Dishman. She had resided in New Castle most of her life and loved family activities. She worked in Garment Factories, Perfect Circle Corporation and loved sports.

Left to cherish her loving memory include: one son, Carl Benson and his wife, Patty of Plainfield, Indiana; two grandchildren, Aaron Benson… Read More » of New Castle, Indiana and Brant Benson and his wife, Kelly of New Castle, Indiana; three great grandchildren: Nate, Brayden and Brynnlee Benson, also many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard Benson in 2016, an infant son and three sisters, Imogene Bowers, June Owens and Zelma Neal. Funeral services were private and arrangements by Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
