Obituary for Ruby Nell Francis Ruby Nell Francis, 89, of New Castle passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie following an extended illness. She was born on May 5, 1929 in Monticello, KY to the late Samuel Alvis and Sarah (Stone) Brown. Ruby was a member of Cross Road Church in New Castle and had attended Wayne County, KY schools growing up.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Patricia “Arlene” Stinson of New Castle; three granddaughters, Stephanie Tedder, Dalanda Francis and Linda Gardner; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Brown, Whitney Foster and Collin Parks; two sisters, Lucy Franklin and Bernice Alumbaugh both of New Castle; daughter-in-law, Becky Francis; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Wilburn “Jack” Francis; son, Ronnie Francis; four sisters, Zelba Hicks, Martha Guffey, Emma Williams and Ann Stephenson. Services will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with the Rev.

Danny Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 11:00am-1:00pm Tuesday prior to the service.
