Obituary for Elizabeth Ann “Libby” Hobbs Elizabeth Ann “Libby” Hobbs, 66, of New Castle, received her reward on Friday, November 16, 2018 at The Waters of New Castle. She was born May 24, 1952 in Deming, NM, to the late Clifford and Bertha Jewel (Conner) Donaghe. Libby graduated high school in Deming, NM and also graduated from Dana Ana Community College with an Associates degree in Nursing.

She worked as a Registered Nurse in several hospitals in New Mexico before moving to New Castle seven years ago. She was a member of Turning Point Life Center, was an avid reader, and loved to play solitaire. She also loved country and gospel music, and loved being a grandma to her granddaughter Riely.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Cody Ryan Hobbs of Mesa, AZ; her granddaughter, Riely Star Hobbs; two sisters, Betty Hethcox of New Castle and Donna (Bobby) Gutierrez of Deming, NM; two brothers, Ronald Donaghe of MS and Carlton Donaghe of Albuquerque, NM; several nieces and nephews including, Kirk (Joann) Hethcox of Deming, NM, Lyle Hethcox of Mooreland, Tyson (Melissa) Hethcox of Mooreland, Aleigha Mauldin of TX, Bobby Gutierrez Jr. of Deming, NM, Ken Donaghe of Albuquerque, NM; great nieces and nephews, Brittany Hethcox, Sabra (Jack) Lynch, and their son Rockston, and Ethan Hethcox; a brother in law, Thomas (Juliann) Stevenson of Deming, NM, and her close friend, Kathy of New Mexico. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Stevenson. Services will be at 5 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2018 at Turning Point Life Center in New Castle with Pastor Matt Perdue officiating.

Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be on Tuesday at Mooreland Cemetery with immediate family presiding. Memorial contributions may be given to Turning Point Life Center, 2263 Indiana Ave.
