James’ Obituary James John Bevilacqua, of Niagara Falls, passed away on December 31, 2018 at home. He was 70. He was born in Niagara Falls, New York, on August 13, 1948, the son of the late Galantino and Teresa (Falzone) Bevilacqua.

He served his country proudly in the United States Army in radio communications. He was honorably discharged in 1971. A car enthusiast, Jim worked his entire life as an auto mechanic.

He was self employed, working for many years for Riverport Auto. Jim was very talented and could fix just about anything. An animal lover, he also enjoyed camping, fishing and his pets.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Carol (Delles) Bevilacqua; two children, Kathleen (Rafael) Lopez of Kenmore, and David Bevilacqua of South Korea; siblings, Richard Bevilacqua of Florida, Roseanne Regan of Holly, Susan Balsar of Texas, Debra Bevilacqua Williams of Niagara Falls; four step-grandchildren; two great-step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Galantino “Bob” Bevilacqua. Family present Saturday at 2 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC.

, 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where services will follow the visitation at 5 PM. The interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
