Bennettsville, SC Mr. James “Buddy” Henry Roller, 74, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 peacefully at his residence surrounded be members of his family. Born July 8, 1944 in Bennettsville, SC, he was the son of the late Henry and Christine Jackson Roller. Mr. Roller was a lifelong carpenter and was employed by PPM for many years.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching NASCAR and the Discovery channel, eating crab legs on the buffet, and he loved animals. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Martha Roller Chavis (brother-in-law Zeb Chavis) Wanda Gail Roller. Surviving are: his wife Irene Sheppard Roller; Children: Tonie Roller Wirth (Larry) of Parsippany, New Jersey, Christy Roller Quick (John) of Bennettsville, James Ray Roller (Sarah), of Wharton, New Jersey, Rodney Roller (Denise) Boonton, of New Jersey, sister, Patricia Roller Blake (Eddie) of Bennettsville; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Burroughs Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.
