OBITUARY James “Butch” Curtis Whitehouse June 3, 1934 – November 15, 2018 James Curtis “Butch” Whitehouse, age 84 passed away peacefully on November 15th, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Louise (Underwood) Whitehouse, his parents Curtis and Lula (Willard) Whitehouse, and his friend of 15 years Deloris Wilson. He was born in Gravel Switch, KY and lived the majority of his life in Louisville.

He has three children: Steven (Teri) Whitehouse, Sharon (Ken) Hoff, and Scott (Teresa) Whitehouse. Five grandchildren: Jaime Sullivan, Sean (Amanda) Whitehouse, Mark Hoff, Olivia Whitehouse, and Rachel Whitehouse. Two great grandchildren: Hunter Sullivan and Kenleigh Sullivan.

He also has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a trustee and member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was a retired transport driver from Frito-Lay with over 2 million accident free miles.

He stayed in contact with his work friends until his final days. He was a Mason and member of The Buechel Lodge for over 60 years. He took great pleasure in family, friends, and food.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday November 19, 2018 at 12:00pm in the Evergreen Dignity Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-8pm at the funeral home. FAMILY He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Louise (Underwood) Whitehouse, his parents Curtis and Lula (Willard) Whitehouse, and his friend of 15 years Deloris Wilson.
