OBITUARY Gary R. Cornelius December 19, 1952 – November 13, 2018 Gary R. Cornelius, 65, passed away on November 13. He was born on December 19, 1952 to the late Andy Cornelius and Stella Cooke. Gary retired from Ford Motors after 33 years of service.

He was a funny man with a great sense of humor and loved fishing, camping and working on classic cars. Gary is preceded in death by his step-father who raised him, Bill Rogers; siblings, Trish Rogers, Dennis Cornelius and Ricky Rogers. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Shirley Cornelius; sons, Robert Cornelius (Amy) and Scott Cornelius (Paige); grandchildren, Joey, Kerstin, Dylan and Jacob Cornelius; sisters, Angela Rogers and Brenda Swartz; and a host of nieces and nephews, all who will miss him dearly.

The family will accept guests to visit on Sunday, November, 18, 2018 from 10-12 pm with a service to celebrate his life immediately following at 12 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd.
