Jo Ann was born February 19, 1946 in Louisville, KY to parents Harry and Minnie Ransdell. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son Tom Embry; and twin brother Joseph Ransdell. She is survived by her sons, James Embry and Shane Embry; sisters: Betty Black, Margaret Dowell, Patricia Mattingly, and Denise Winters; brothers: William Ransdell and Douglas Ransdell; and several nieces and nephews.
