OBITUARY Ronald Richard McCubbin Sr. December 23, 1945 – November 5, 2018 Ronald R. McCubbin, Sr., 72, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018. Ron was a retired parts salesman for Peterson Truck Sales, a lifetime member of the NRA, a former member of the Republican Committee, and a fan of Notre Dame football. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda Meredith McCubbin; children, Rick McCubbin, Jr. (Tara), Kimberly McCubbin, Melissa McCubbin, Amy Campanell (John), and Michael McCubbin (Amber); 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held at 7 pm Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by cremation. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the service Wednesday. Memorial gifts may be made to either the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Kosair Charities.
