James Elijah MacKintosh, 88, of South Haven, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at his home. He was born December 9, 1930 to James and Helen (Kurkland) MacKintosh in Chicago, Illinois. James served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.

James enjoyed reading, watching TV, and taking walks. He is preceded in death along with his parents by his wife – Hazel Geneva MacKintosh and two brothers. James is survived by his son – Donnie (Dianna) Brown of South Haven, three grandchildren – Donna Brown, Donnie Brown, Jr., and Jenny Brown, three great grandchildren – Desiree Brown, Donavan Brown, and Marcus Brown, and one great-great granddaughter – Madisyn Brown.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Jarvis officiating.
