James “Farl” A. Farley of Warren, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in his residence. He was 70. He was born on May 6, 1948 in Phillipi, West Virginia, the son of the late Kermit C. and Mildred Sims Farley.

Farl was a graduate of Newbury High School. Following high school, James proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, during his time in the army, Jim was awarded his parachute badge, national defense service medal, and marksman M-16. Mr. Farley was self-employed owning Jim Farley Plumbing for 25 years up until his retirement in 2010.

Mr. Farley was of Catholic faith and a member of St. William Catholic Church in Champion. He was a member of Sly Fox MC and was passionate about riding the open road. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, making jewelry and attending yard sales.

Constantly educating himself through different YouTube videos on various topics. James had a green thumb and enjoyed spending time with his wife in their garden, growing and tending to various flowers together. Most importantly he loved his family and he cherished the memories and moment spent with them, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Christine Babnik Farley, whom he married June 22, 2011; 3 daughters, Carrie Lee Farley of Youngstown, Sirena Celeste Rebovich of Bristolville, OH, Aura Elise (Rocky) Conejos of Ft. Meade, MD; 2 sons, Casey Allen Farley and his fiancé Laurie Saxon of Boardman, Aidan James Farley of Warren; 2 sisters, Mildred Farley of Cleveland and Linda Zagorski of Phoenix, AZ; a brother Patrick Farley of Streetsboro, OH; 2 grandchildren Christian “Doop” and Zane “Peanut”. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Darlene Wooten and Connie Griffith; a brother Kermit “Danny” Farley.
