Obituary for James M. Garner Passed away at Edward Hines, Jr. Veterans Hospital, Thursday, June 20, 2018, after a four month illness. Age 58 years. Jim is survived by 3 loving sons Branden (Paula) of Denver, Co., Cory (Mallory Conley) of Ottawa and Adam (Kirstin Breann) of Watertown, WI.

, A grandson Alexander. A sister Cynthia (Jack) Pruitt, Aunt Darlene Pennington, two half-brothers Jerry, James Melvin Jr., His step-father Bill Comer, also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins. Also survived by mother of his children Judy Downing and her family.

Preceded in death by his parents James Melvin Garner, Sr. and Alice Carolyn Garner-Comer (nee Bivens). His half-brother Brandon Garner. His grandmother Velma Garner.

Jim was born February 20, 1960 in Aurora, IL. Veteran of the United States Air Force. Jim was employed with Dart Container for 19 years and most recently Menards in Plano, IL.

Funeral services will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:30 A.M. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of James M.
