Edward J. “Eddie” Baranski, age 78, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Granite Hills Healthcare Facility, El Cajon, CA. Edward is survived by his sister, June (Dominic) Vella; nephews, Dominic (Lory) and Michael (Jill) Vella; numerous great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and longtime friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Virginia (June) Baranski, and nephew Tony Vella.

Ed was born on January 29, 1940. He graduated from Joliet Catholic High (1958); attended JJC and was a professional poker player in Las Vegas, NV for over 50 years. A celebration of Edward’s life will begin on Saturday, June 23, 2018 with a Memorial Mass at St. Anne Catholic Church, Crest Hill, IL at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
