James Howard Cantrell, 58, of Pendleton, passed away on January 22, 2019. He was born on December 26, 1960 in Livingston, TN to Odell and Betty Lou (Hargis) Cantrell. James was a 1979 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School.

He loved his job in quality control and enjoyed working on cars and collected hot wheels and case pocket knives. In his younger days James enjoyed playing drums in a band. James is survived by his daughter, Ginny (Joe) Shelton, father, Odell Cantrell, brother, Philip (Rhonda)Cantrell, step-sister, Kathy (Trent) Poole, four grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by mother, Betty Lou (Hargis) Cantrell, and his grandparents. Visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2019, 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson, IN. Services will be Friday, January 25, 2019, 2:30 pm with Rev.

Claude Creel officiating. Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park. www.
