West Columbia, SC-James (Jim, Jimmy) Matthew Morgan, 66, passed away in his home on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. He was the son of the late Willow Baltzegar Morgan and James Lennon Morgan; brother to Marilyn Morgan Horton and late brother-in-law, Thomas W. Horton. Jim graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School in 1969 where he played baseball.

He also, enjoyed playing golf and watching the Duke Blue Devils play basketball. He worked as a civil draftsman for 40 plus years and retired from Belter & Associates in 2016. Visitation will be at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington, SC on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 6-8 pm.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to Pets, Inc., 300 Orchard Dr., West Columbia, SC, 29170.
