James. L. Paschall, 87, of Kokomo. Went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday morning, February 17, 2019 at his home in Kokomo.

He was born January 12, 1932 in Peace Valley, Missouri to Joel R. and Minnie B. (Gibbs) Paschall. He married Ethel Butler and she preceded him in death August 31, 2003. Jim graduated from Kokomo High School and later went to work for Cuneo Press in Kokomo for 25 years.

He then began working for Taylor School Corporation as a custodian for 17 more years retiring in March of 1997. He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Kokomo and enjoyed riding horses, singing, traveling and working on cars. Most importantly to him was spending time with his family who he loved dearly.

Jim served his country in the US Air Force from 1951 – 1953 during the Korean Conflict. Surviving family include his children, Betty Jean (Ron) Reinhardt; Sharon R. (Ron) Wolfe, and Howard L. Paschall, all of Kokomo. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Julie Ann (Brian) Wagner, Sevierville, TN; Susan Sunday, Kokomo; and Paul (Amy) Barber, Kokomo.

Several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, wife, children, Linda Conners and Ron Seabolt, niece, LeeAnn Hubbard and siblings, Jean Wehring, Laura Bell Bales, Donald R. Paschall and Thelma Ingold. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston.

A celebration of life services will begin at 2:00 p.m. following visitation with Brother Chris Tucker officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston. www.
