Obituary for James Robert “Buddy” Hulse, Jr. POINT – Memorial services for James “Buddy” Robert Hulse, Jr., 56, of Point, will be held at a later date by the family. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley’s Lone Oak Funeral Home. Mr. Hulse passed away November 6, 2018, at a Greenville hospital.

He was born September 17, 1962, in Greenville, to James Robert Sr. and Betty Rose Frazier Hulse. Buddy married Katina Diane Suel on September 15, 2000, in Deport. He lived the last six years in Rains County.

He was a trivia buff and a small screen Western and Perry Mason fanatic. He loved the outdoors, camping, and fishing. He was also a member of the United Methodist Church of Lone Oak.

Survivors include his loving wife of 18 years, Katina Diane Hulse of Point; son, Zachary Hulse of Quinlan; daughters, Shelby and husband Chad Crow of Point and Cheyenne Little of Ashdown, Arkansas; brother, Jerry Hulse of Ashdown, Arkansas; sisters, Dixie Hulse of Arkansas and Dee Anne and husband Austin Lewellen of East Tawakoni; three grandchildren, Elvis, Ashton, and Bryer; beloved cat, Felix; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Wayne Smith; and brother-in-law, Ronnie Joe Suel.
