OBITUARY James M. Warner December 15, 1930 – November 10, 2018 James M. Warner, 87, passed away on November 10. He was born on December 15, 1930, to the late James Sr. and Ruth Warner in Cecelia, Kentucky. James attended the University of Louisville School of Law and went on to work for Brown and Williamson Tobacco.

He was a founding member of the University of Louisville Alumni Club and sat on the Interstate Commerce Commission. After his retirement, he picked up a new hobby and was an award winning pro-am ballroom dancer. Left to cherish his memory are is beloved wife of 68 years, Janet Warner; children, James Joseph Warner (Crittie), John Charles Warner (Sherry), David Ray Warner (Karen), Carol Ann Ruggio (Martin), Daniel Robert Warner (Ann), Thomas Patrick Warner (Loretta) and Michael William Warner; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Warner.

The family will accept guests for visitation on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 3-8 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A Mass to Celebrate James’ life will be on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 11 am at the Nazareth Chapel inside the Nazareth Home, 2000 Newburg Road, (for attendees of the Mass, additional parking is available between St. Agnes and the Nazareth Home).
