Obituary for James William Western James “Sonny” William Western, born Dec. 18, 1932 went to be with the Lord Wednesday eve at 3:00 p.m. He was a Korean War Army Veteran and a retiree from 798 pipeline. He was a hard worker and loved by many.

He enjoyed spending time with his horses. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Dix and husband, Victor; a brother, Melvin Western (Brenda); stepdaughter, Nancy Cham (Carmello) and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Rose Western; his mother, Essie Crenshaw; his father, William Western; brothers, Wesley Western and Lewis “Dub” Western and sons, Michael and Ronnie Western.

The family will hold a graveside memorial service 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12 at the Shady Grove Cemetery Steward Addition. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.
