Obituary for J.C. Safley J.C. Safley, 88, of Judsonia, AR died Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Providence Assisted Living in Searcy. He was born October 5, 1929 in Judsonia to the late Orva Addison and Rose (Leonard) Safley. J.C. was a farmer and a member of the Judsonia First Baptist Church.

He was a United States Army veteran and served in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Madeline (Lackey) Safley; son, James Addison Safley and wife, Kimberly; grandson, James Addison Safley II and wife, Autumn; great-grandson, James Addison Safley III and one brother, Roger Safley. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Robert Dale Safley; brother, Z.L. Safley; and sister, Odean King.

Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 28 at Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
