Mr. James Wilson Gay, age 89, of Cornersville, died May 18, 2018 at NHC Oakwood. Mr. Gay was a native of Smithville, Tennessee, the son of the late Marvin Luther and Nora Elizabeth Taylor Gay. He was a self-employed carpenter and was a member of the Pentecostal church.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Bartlett Gay, one daughter, Sarah Walker of Chapel Hill, four sons, Jackie Gay, Dwane Matthews, Rick Parks, and Steve Parks, all of Lewisburg, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Regina Scott, seven sisters, Anne Mae, Virgie Lee, Cloie Bell, Pauline, Berthie, Ruby, and Dorothy Jean, three brothers, Homer, J.E. and Gentry Gay. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Lone Oak Cemetery at 2:00 pm with burial to follow.

There will be no public visitation at the funeral home. London Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
