Obituary of James Heming James Scott Heming of Goldendale, WA passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 31, 2018. Scott was born on July 16, 1956 in Goldendale, Washington to Pete and Joan Heming. He graduated from Goldendale High School in 1974.

Scott is survived by his Parents Pete and Joan Heming, Daughters Heather Beierle (Justin), Holly Hill (Travis Heilman), Granddaughters Hadlee and Paisley, Brother Tim Heming, all of Goldendale, WA, Sister Pamela Jamison (Roger) of Spokane, WA, several aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and extended family. Scott worked several jobs throughout his life from a produce manager at the local market, to Hod carrier/Bricklayer in the Mason’s union, Custodian/Bus driver at Centerville school and his final job was for Goldendale Aluminum. Scott was most known for his passion of fishing for Salmon and Steelhead on numerous Northwest rivers.

Scott was one of the pioneers of navigating the Klickitat River in a Drift boat. His passion for guiding and teaching people to fish outweighed his love of catching one for himself. He was more than willing to share his “secrets” and knowledge with those who showed a true interest in the sport.

Scott was truly “one of a kind”. He had a special way of connecting with everyone he came in contact with, and always had a joke or a story to make you laugh. Scott loved his family and took great pride watching them at sporting/rodeo events and his Granddaughters with their 4H animals and horses.

His family takes comfort knowing he is in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
