Obituary for Jane K. Briggs Jane K. Briggs, age 89, of Branford, beloved wife of the late William Briggs, entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2019. Born in Providence, RI, on February 28, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Einar and Lydia Munroe Kareliussen. Before retirement, Jane worked for Pratt & Whitney.

Jane is survived by her children, Lorraine Elliss, Raymond (Nancy) Briggs, grandson, Tim (Amanda) Briggs, and brothers Harold (Barbara) Kareliussen, and Robert (Mary) Kareliussen. She was predeceased by her sister Marion Robinson and her brother Richard Kareliussen. All services will be held privately.

The West Haven Funeral Home at the Green has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
