Jane Morgan June 05, 1944 – January 22, 2019 Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card HOLTON – Jane Morgan, 74, of Holton, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Vintage Park Assisted Living in Holton. She was born June 5, 1944 at Sabetha, the daughter of Hubert P. and Ethel L. Cody Sewell. She graduated from Holton High School in 1962 and attended Steward Beauty Academy in Topeka.

Jane owned and operated the Elite Beauty Salon in Holton until selling the business in 1966. She was a member of the First Christian Church at Holton, the First Christian Church DWF, the NOTLOH card club, the Tourism Club, the Widowed Women Group and the Birthday Club. Jane married Robert A. Morgan on December 14, 1963 at the former EUB Church in Holton.

He preceded her in death on July 27, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sandra Sue Hefflefinger. Survivors include a son, Alan Morgan and wife Katherine, Stafford, VA, one brother, Bob Sewell and wife Elsie, Humble, TX, three grandchildren, Robert, Chandler and Preston Morgan and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 2nd at the First Christian Church. Inurnment will be later in the Holton Cemetery. A register book will be available to sign at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton.
