Jane’s Obituary Jane Sears North, 58 of Ellerbe passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 surrounded by her family. Jane was born on July 3, 1960 in Richmond County, a daughter of Barbara Tilley Sears and the late John H. Sears, Sr. Surviving are Carl North; her daughters, Morgan North and Meredith North; her mother, Barbara Sears; a sister, Beverly Barber(Richard); a brother, John H Sears, Jr.(Kelly); nieces, Dana Sauls, and Jamie Kay Sears; nephew, Will Barber; many great nieces and nephews and special friends and caregivers, Mary Brown and Donald Parker. She was preceded in death by her father John H. Sears, Sr. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe with Rev.

Sta Layton, Rev. Butch Farrah and Chaplain Chris Thornton. Burial will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:45 am – 12:45 pm at Carter Funeral Home and other times at the home of her mother. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 N US Hwy 1, Rockingham, NC 28379 or First Presbyterian Church of Ellerbe, Box 116, Ellerbe, NC 28338.
