Janet’s Obituary Janet Carol Riffe, 75, of Magnolia Lane, Bluefield, VA, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on November 1, 1943 in Pocahontas, VA, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Maggie Jennings Boone. She had been a resident of Bluefield, VA for 10 years and was a member of the Falls Mills United Methodist Church.

She was a retired certified nursing assistant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy “Doug” Riffe; a sister, Phyllis Boone; and a brother, James Boone. Survivors include: Sons: Ray (Christi) Riffe of Greensboro, NC Rodney (fiancé Jessica Crockett) Riffe of Falls Mills, VA Wayne Riffe of Bland, VA David (Debra) Riffe of Bluefield, WV 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren Brothers: Benny (Sue) Boone of FL Larry (Linda) Boone of MI Sisters: Shirley Smith of Harrison, MI Betty (Mike) Trybuski of MI Sharon (Tim) Masten of MI Judy (John) Moore of FL Brenda (Terry) Gonwicha of MI Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev.

Ted Anders officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where grandsons and family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
