Shirley’s Obituary Shirley A. Davidson, 79, of Bramwell, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at her home. Born on May 9, 1939 at Maybeury, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Alma King Quizenberry. Formerly of Elkhorn, she was a graduate of Northfork-Elkhorn High School, class of 1957.

A homemaker, she also had worked as an EMT and dispatcher with the Bluefield WV Rescue Squad. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Crozier Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian K. Davidson; her brother, James “Jim” Quizenberry; and her sister, Bonnie James Hodge.

Survivors include: Husband of 58 years: Kenneth Davidson of the home Brother: Randy James and wife Hallie of Bramwell Grandsons: Kevin Davidson and wife Andrea of Bluefield Matthew Davidson of Tallahassee, FL Brothers in law: Roger Davidson of Bluefield Clarence Davidson and wife Maria of Icard, NC Great granddaughter: Willow Grace Davidson of Bluefield Niece: Tabatha Boothe of Tazewell, VA Nephew: Ronnie Hodge of Bluefield, VA Daughter in law: Laura Beth Davidson of Bluefield In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation and a committal service will be held at a later date.
