Janet S. Willock, 89, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019. She was a native of Louisville, the son of George S. Sullivan and Adilaide B. Sullivan. Janet was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in 1947 and Ursuline College in 1951, having achieved a B.A. in English Literature.

Janet was a real estate broker with Paul Semonin Realtors until her retirement in 2000. In recognition of the professionalism and service to her clients in 1999, she received the Scoggan Jones Peer Award. She was an avid reader, Knitter, needlepointer and baker.

As a member of AA for nearly 52 years, she mentored and helped many members of her community. She was a member of the Queen’s Daughters and The Filson Historical Society. She also was an active supporter of the Louisville Ballet and the Louisville Orchestra.

She is survived by her children, Linda W. Damrau and William C. Willock, Jr; her grandchildren, Lauren W. Wunderlich, Victoria S. Willock, Anastasia R. Damrau, William T. W. Damrau and Wm. Brett Burkhead; and her great-grandchildren, Andrew W. Wunderlich, Alexis C. Burkhead and Wm. Austin Burkhead.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2019 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, “in St. Matthews”. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January, 19, 2019. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Father McGee Student Aid Fund, care of Holy Spirit Church and Hosparus of Louisville.
