Obituary for Janette E. Thrower Janette E. Thrower, 78, of Lakeland, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Brandywyne Health Care Center in Lakeland, FL. She was born in Davenport, FL on June 20, 1940 to the late James and Loneita (Carmichael) Musselwhite. Janette moved to Lakeland in 1970 from Davenport, FL, was a homemaker and a member of the Northside Assembly of God in Lakeland, FL.

A devoted Christian woman, she read her Bible and loved her Lord Jesus Christ. Janette loved her family dearly and her dogs, Brandi and Angel. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking and baking.

Her baking was the best and her family will never forget her delicious homemade coconut cream cakes and strawberry cakes. Janette enjoyed travel, with her Europe trip and the Great Smokey Mountains being two of her favorites. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Allen Thrower.

Janette is survived by her husband, of 49 years, Jesse M. Thrower; son, James Edward Belyew and Wife Mary of Lakeland, FL; daughter, Angela Bingham and Husband, Ray of Ocala, FL; brother, Kenneth Musselwhite of Garner, NC; grandchildren, Leigh, Matt and Justin; and six great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL with Pastor Eddie Tanner, officiating. Final resting place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL.
