Janice Faye Cloteaux July 28, 1953 – January 09, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card MAURICE ~ Funeral services will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at a 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Mrs. Lee Cloteaux, age 65, the former Janice Faye Doucet, who passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at her residence in Maurice surrounded by her family. Mrs. Cloteaux was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Maurice for the past eighteen years. She was employed with Stuller Settings for twenty-one years.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-three years, Lee Cloteaux of Maurice; three daughters, Seandee Mouton and her husband, Mitchell, of Spring, TX, Sloane Roberts and her fiancé, Bobby Bourque, Jr., of Church Point and Stephanie Cloteaux and her husband, Jonathon Spell of Maurice; one son, Skye Cloteaux and his wife, Natasha, of Carencro; twelve grandchildren, Audra Richard, Dylan Mouton, Bailey Richard, Racquel Mouton, Leah Cloteaux, Kylie Lassiter, Jada Lassiter, Evan Cloteaux, Scarlet Roberts, Ireland Nissen, Basin Spell and Avery Cloteaux; one step grandson, Jon Spell; one brother, Gene Easton Doucet of Moss Bluff; and four sisters, Linda Lanclos and her husband, Edward “Blackie”, of Scott, Judy Girard of Scott, Gwen Doucet and her husband, Terry Hollaway, of Duson and Connie Mouton and her husband, Robert, of Scott. She was preceded in death by one son, Seth Comeaux; her parents, Joseph Easton Doucet and the former Melina Marie Smith both natives of Scott. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home by her loving sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home. Melancon Funeral Home, Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4117 N. University Ave. , Carencro, (337) 896-3232, is in charge of arrangements.
