Janice Gibson of Lumberton January 1, 1932 – January 21, 2019 Janice Gibson, age 87, of Lumberton, NC died at her daughter’s residence on Monday, January 21, 2019. She was born in Richmond County, NC on January 1, 1932 to the late Lonnie and Willie Council Wallace. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Wallace and Willie Council Wallace; her husband, Mack Gibson; step-son, Dewey Gibson; step-daughter, Cynthia Gibson; brothers, Clay Wallace, Talmadge Wallace, and Leon Wallace; and sister, Yvonne Wallace. Mrs. Gibson is survived by daughter, Bonnie Britt (James) of Lumberton; step-son, Lee Richardson; step-daughters, Rhonda Taylor and Jhonda Richardson; grandchildren, Jamie Britt (Wendy), Jessica Britt Gainey (David), Tammy Bryant, Brandy Nelson, Bonita Richardson, and Rhett Richardson; great-grandchildren, Haven Britt and Hunter Gainey; and great-great-grandchild, Emmett Hair. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens with Rev.

Johnny Bruce officiating. A time for visitation will be held following the service at the graveside.
