Ruby Britt of Lumberton January 21, 1929 – January 18, 2019 Ruby Phillips Britt, age 89, of Lumberton, NC died on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Lumberton Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Robeson County, NC on January 21, 1929 to the late Robert Phillips and the late Agnes Long Phillips. She was a homemaker, a member of Beulah Baptist Church for 70 years, and farmed her whole life with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Leon Columbus Brtt. Mrs. Britt is survived by her daughters, Ann Rising (Steve) and Peggy Farnsworth (Bob) all of Lumberton; sister, Letha Williams of Lumberton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. prior to the funeral service.

The service will be at 2:00 PM following the visitation at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. The burial will follow at Pittman Family Cemetery.
