Janice Marie Corwin July 01, 1956 – March 02, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Janice Marie Corwin, 62, of Macon, MO, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Janice was born on July 1, 1956, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Laural M. and Effie (Beltramo) Jordan. She worked in the press room at Toastmasters in Macon for many years.

After the factory closed, she graduated from Moberly Area Community College with an Associates degree in early childhood development. Janice enjoyed reading, drawing, crafting, playing jokes and tricks on her family and friends, making her famous pumpkin pies, and especially caring for her grandchildren. Janice is survived by her four children, Brandi York of St. Louis, MO, Brian Corwin, Shawn Corwin, and Tanajia Douglas, all of Macon; nine grandchildren, Kiara Boyd, Riane Corwin, Kenny Douglas, Jase Corwin, Laila Douglas, Emalea Corwin, Caelan Corwin, PatsyJane Douglas, and Holden Strange; two brothers, Jim Jordan and his wife Paula of Rockfalls, IL, Jared Jordan of Brookfield, MO; one sister, Judi Sewell and her husband Richard of Gulfport, MS; nieces, nephews, in-laws and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her life partner of sixteen years, Kenneth L. Douglas. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Macon.

Visitation will be from 1-2 pm, on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family to help with expenses.
